The latest technology out of Apple comes in the form of Siri, on the new iPhone 4S.  Siri is the iPhone’s “intelligent personal assistant” – it uses your own voice to send messages, set reminders, schedule meetings, make calls and perform almost any task you can think of.

When I hear the word “Intern”, I think of someone who is the "gofer" of a company. Where the day is filled with meaningless tasks that range from making coffee to shining shoes. Usually having nothing to do with the industry you are actually interested in. This is the exact opposite experience I had being a Graphic Design Intern at HATHWAY.

The “Occupy” movements have made it to SLO, and we are not alone. The “Occupy Wall Street” (OWS) movement has spread all over the nation, each city adding their name to the “Occupy” movement. In Southern California we have “Occupy San Diego”, “Occupy Los Angeles”, and now, “Occupy SLO”.

In Allstate’s latest advertising campaign – staring the character of “Mayhem”, portrayed by the always-hilarious Dean Winters – we have seen a kind of trend forming. Lately, many advertisements and marketing ideas don’t seem to really focus all that much on their product, but rather on connecting with viewers – most often through comedy.

By now if you don’t know who Steve Jobs is, you clearly haven’t been paying attention.  Don’t dismay, however, I am here to guide you out of the cave you’ve been living in and into the light!

Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple - the oh-so-popular technology giant that has emerged in so many of our lives - died on Oct. 5^th, leaving behind a company that owes him its success and a legacy of innovation and progress.
