Ever hang up the phone after dealing with a sales person and just feel tired or insulted? Customers should not have to “deal” with anything. As a sales representative, it is your job to provide the customer with the service they need. Maybe you’re tired, or sick, or just plain not having a good day. Just imagine how much worse you would feel if a complete stranger was rude to you, seemingly for no reason at all.

As technology has evolved, so has the way we must write for the web. Most every day activities revolve around the internet somehow, making it much more people oriented, as opposed to search engine oriented. This has changed the way we must optimize our sites for said search engines. We can no longer hide lists of keywords on our sites by making them the same color as the background, nor should we write articles with asinine keyword repetition. Keyword “stuffing” will destroy your ranking, and human visitors will not stay long to read a repetitive article. As in so much of life, the ticket is balance.

Compared to other incidents involving vehicles, violence and various other accidents, oil spills are not at the top of anyone’s list. Of course, they are horrendous, and most people “feel bad” for all the cute little animals displayed in ad campaigns such as Dawn’s dish soap. However, aside from active environmentalists, most people fail to see the impact these spills have on the planet. That is, of course, until a spill finally affects us directly.
