Polyera.com Launched with Successful CIM Integration

We are proud to announce the launch of the new website at http://www.polyera.com. Polyera supplies materials to the semiconductor industry and needed a online store set up to sell their materials and products to customers coming from as far away as Japan.

They came to us in a sticky situation: given the proprietary nature of their products, they needed to manally authorize all transactions. The also needed to remain PCI Compliant, a set of rules put forth by the major credit card companies that has been put in place to keep customer payment data secure at all times. One of the major rules of PCI compliance is that you cannot store customer data like credit cards on your own server.

How then could they take customer credit card info, store it temporarily while the order is being approved by admins (up to 24 hours), and then process the purchase immediately upon approval? We came up with an excellent solution for them that actually stores all of the customer data on a secure PCI Compliant server supplied by Authorize.net's CIM (Customer Information Manager) system. When the admin approves the order, they system pings the CIM server and processes the credit card securely. The sticky situation was solved, and all in a days work for the expert coders at Hathway Tech!

If you are in the market for semiconductor materials, check out Polyera. The Activink™ product they created actually allows you to print out circuits with a standard inkjet printer. As always, if you are in the market for a new or improved website, drop us a line over at HathwayTech.com.
