At Hathway, every project is driven by a deliberate set of goals, which is defined in the strategy portion of a User Experience Design. From strategy on up to the surface level with which users interact, everything must be aligned with what the users need and the business requires.

Qualifications

This is not a graphic design position, and it is not a programming position. Though experience in either or both of those fields is a huge plus, a user experience designer must:

• Know what a clean user interface looks like
• Enjoy solving complex problems
• Be able to describe a multi-faceted workflow in words, text, and diagrams
• Have a working knowledge of web standards, popular websites and hot applications
• Care about making users happy while making our clients' efforts pay off
• Be familiar with and passionate about user experience design

Duties

• Consulting with clients to determine problems, solutions, and goals
• Researching, benchmarking, and proposing solutions
• Writing functional specifications, crafting user stories, and designing workflows
• Working with our creative, technical, and strategic teams to execute complex projects
