Qualifications

• Excellent HTML and CSS skills. If you use tables for anything (except tabular data), don't bother applying!
• Experience building websites and knowledge of web, social, and mobile environments
• Familiarity with general coding practices, with minor knowledge of PHP and Jacascript required. PHP and Javascript expertise is a huge plus!
• Working knowledge of hot content management systems like Joomla, Wordpress, and Drupal
• General knowledge and experience with ecommerce and platforms like Magento
• Passion for the web, creativity, and making users happy
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Fireworks
• Ability to learn quickly and bring other goodies to the table like Facebook Connect

Duties of a Frontend Web Developer

• Configuring content management systems based on organizational requirements
• Slicing up comps into living HTML/CSS templates
• Extending basic style guides and skinning content to make big sites consistent without requiring a graphic designer for every page
• Backend (PHP/MySQL) and advanced frontend (Javascript, AJAX) dev tasks as needed based on your experience
• Managing your own tasks based on minimal guidance
• Working with cross-functional creative, technical, and strategic teams
