Support Team Leader
We're looking for a web development expert that enjoys a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing our support department as well as responding to and resolving customer support requests. Strong web development and customer management skills are required.

Ongoing client support is a fast-growing sector here at Hathway. Our Support department handles smaller client requests between larger projects. We are looking for a strong web developer with a diverse skillset that enjoys multitasking.
Qualifications
The most important requirement of this position is the ability to analyze and solve complex web problems using the tools and languages familiar to most web developers:
- Expert HTML & CSS ability
- Average (or better) PHP, MySQL, and Javascript skills
- Experience with debugging javascript and html/css issues with tools such as Firebug / Web Inspector
- Skill in managing and development for systems like Joomla, Wordpress, and Drupal is a big plus, but we can teach the right person
- Experience with Photoshop or Fireworks, as well as an eye for basic web design and layouts
- Passion for coding and desire to learn new techniques
- Strong knowledge of the web in general, including DNS, hosting, SSL, payment processing, email, Facebook, etc..
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and plan work
- Love for communicating with long-term clients and building client relationships
Duties
As the Support Team Leader you will be responsible for the growth and success of our support department, which is critical to our overall success as a company. Our support department is responsible for ongoing client relationships and is the first line of contact with our clients, often paving the way to larger projects. Duties are:
- Management of our support ticketing system and other support staff
- Planning and execution of support tickets regarding various web issues, using the skills listed above
- Working with cross-functional creative, strategic, and technical staff on larger projects if needed
- Communicating regularly with clients via tickets, email, phone, and in-person meetings
- Participating in executive team meetings and other decision making processes as a department head
