Local Interactive Marketing Agency, HATHWAY, Gains New Employees, New Opportunities
San Luis Obispo, Calif. (HATHWAY) February 8, 2011 -- HATHWAY, a local digital media agency founded in 2008 by Cal Poly graduates Jesse Dundon and Kevin Rice, has been gaining ground in the world of web design and brand experience. Over the past few months they have hired three new full time and two part time employees, giving them a team of thirteen talented developers and marketers, as well as quarterly social media interns from Cal Poly.
HATHWAY is proud to announce their new hires, including project manager Lee Flayton, full time developer Paul “PJ” English, and digital campaign manager Kristine Canada, as well as the promotion of Mary Dundon to media relations coordinator.
Lee Flayton is a Bradley University graduate with a BA in Multimedia. He is passionate about auto racing and worked at Midwest Performance Cars in Chicago for three years. He then spent seven years working on the CBBA Minority Job Fair Project for Wildman Harrold LLP in Chicago.
Paul “PJ” English is a self-taught programmer who studied Computer Science at Cal Poly, and after traveling for a few years came back to San Luis Obispo to work in the tech department at MindBody Online. After three years, PJ came to HATHWAY in search of an open source ecosystem.
Kristine Canada comes to HATHWAY with over ten years of experience in traditional marketing. Canada graduated from St. Mary’s College in 1999 with a degree in Communication. She has worked in marketing for sports retail companies, and her most recent position was Eco Timber, a “green” wood supply company. This is her first time working in digital marketing, but her strong foundation in traditional marketing gives her a great head start.
Mary Dundon came to HATHWAY in April of 2010 as a sales associate. She is a current Journalism student and her proficiency in public relations for HATHWAY led to her recent promotion to media relations coordinator.
HATHWAY has always approached projects with the mindset of deploying the entire team to not only build websites for clients, but to develop marketing campaigns for both new and established businesses. The addition of these new employees allows HATHWAY to exercise this method with creativity and expertise.
